Meet
the KSJJ CREW!
5-10
AM - Cook & Colleen
We met working at the same radio station in
1985, and got married the same year! We've
been happy Central
Oregonians since 1991,
and raised our son, Ian, here as well.
We want
to always be the folks you listen to in the
morning
to start your day!
We live in Redmond with our "furry child", spike
the wonder dog and various goldfish (they sort of come and
go). We're into concerts, gardening, camping and music. We
love country music and have been playing country on the radio
for more than 20 years.

AM - 3 PM - Carey Jacobson
Born and raised in Prineville I started in
radio thru a mentoring program in high school. Then I moved to Portland, majored in broadcasting
in college, worked at some radio stations there and then came
back home to Central Oregon.
I love country music and have had a longstanding obsession
with Sawyer
Brown!!! When I'm not on the mic I love going to concerts
(Countryfied),
playing and watching sports (Go Pistons!) and watching Will
Ferrell movies.
I'm addicted to Taco Bell food, Wild Cherry Pepsi,
and the
Big Dog Deli in Sunriver!

7PM - Midnight - Jake Daniels
I started my career as a game show host and weather man in Montana . I ultimately got into the radio business as a DJ and worked at the same radio station as Willie Nelson (Willie helped me get over my fear of headbands). I have lived in Central Oregon for the past 18 years. Living in Central Oregon allows me the opportunity fish in my neighbors wading pool and all of the nature surroundings.

After MidNite - Blair
Garner
is the host of "After MidNite
with Blair Garner." He is one of the most successful
air personalities in the country, nominated numerous times
by Billboard for "Best Syndicated Radio Personality"
and having worked at several popular stations in Dallas, Washington
D.C., Houston, New York City, and Los Angeles.
Blair is the youngest of three Texas boys raised by Gary and
Mariellen Garner. His father was the director of the West
Texas A&M University Band, and his oldest brother, Brad,
followed in Gary's musical footsteps and teaches at the Cincinnati
Conservatory of Music in Ohio and at The Juilliard School
of Music in New York. Blair's middle brother, Bryan, is a
lexicographer in Dallas. Don't worry... Blair didn't know
what it meant either. Actually, Bryan is a leading scholar
on legal writing, and has several books published
by The Oxford
University Press.
In his free time, Blair collects cars. At any given time he
usually has six to fifteen different cars ranging from Porsches
and Ferraris to classic Cadillacs and Chryslers. When asked
about his amazing success, Blair quickly credits his parents.
"My parents taught us all two very important lessons:
First my father taught us that if we were going to make a
mistake, make it as big and loud and hairy as you possibly
can. Commit yourself to it. If you're timid, you'll never
reach the brass ring. Don't be afraid to fail. Secondly, my
mom always told us that we were special. We could do anything
we could dream. When you add those two lessons together, the
results can be pretty powerful."
